NCHPC Survey - Assessing Access Barriers to Pediatric Palliative Care and Hospice
The Pediatric Division of the National Coalition for Hospice and Palliative Care is developing a national policy agenda to improve access to pediatric palliative care and hospice. To begin these efforts, they invite you to complete a short 7-question survey (5–7 minutes). Your input will help identify key issues and shape future policy recommendations.
Complete the Cures Act Survey
Did you know that as of April 2021, federal regulations require health care providers and systems to provide patients with full, rapid, electronic access to their health information, including clinical notes and test results? The 21st Century Cures Act Information Blocking Rule (IBR) aims to increase access to health information, improve health literacy, and empower patients. Yet, little is known about its impact in oncology palliative care.
Palliative care researchers at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB), led by Dr. Heather Nelson-Brantley, Dr. Rodney Tucker, and Dr. Marie Bakitas, want to learn how you and your health system have responded to the regulation and how they can support your success. Complete the survey before it closes on May 31, 2025.
