Description
This position is the Social Worker Manager for all Palliative Care Social Workers across MMG. In addition to covering routine social work duties as assigned, will also drive professional development for over 20 specialized Social Workers across the
system in Palliative Care. Partners with site Medical Directors to assure appropriate staffing and quality across multiple sites, including capture of value-based revenue from payor partnerships and lends discipline-specific perspective to performance
reviews. Runs point on recruiting, retention, and skill development for the system's Palliative Care Social Workers.

Our team consists of nearly 100 clinicians that work in interdisciplinary teams across 9 acute care hospitals, robust community-based program, and advance care planning program
Our interdisciplinary teams are comprised of physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, RNs, social workers, clinical pharmacists, chaplains, and administrative roles

Requirements: prior hospital experience and additional PGY2 residency training in palliative care or a closely related field.
