Nominations Open: 2026 Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards
The Cunniff-Dixon Foundation has announced that nominations are open for the 2026 Hastings Center Cunniff-Dixon Physician Awards, which recognize physicians who provide outstanding care to patients through their clinical care, research, compassion, and/or service to their community. The awards are co-sponsored by The Hastings Center for Bioethics.
The 2026 awards include:
- Three (3) Early-Career Physician Awards: Each award provides $15,000 to a physician with up to 10 years of practice who demonstrates excellence in palliative care.
- One (1) Dr. Richard Payne Senior Leadership Award: A $25,000 award for a senior physician with 15-plus years of practice who is recognized for outstanding contributions to palliative care and dedicated service to underserved communities.
